Hey tweets, My 1981 version of Terry Wahl and Dennis Paulson's seminal
book, Bird Finding in Washington, disintegrated years ago. Gene is
including a reference to it in his new edition of Bird Finding in
Seattle and King County, and I am checking the references.

If anyone out in tweeterland has a copy of the 1981 version, I would
very much like to know:

Who is the publisher? Is it Terry or the Whatcom County Museum?

Also, does anyone know the dates of the previous editions (and the
following editions??) ? - Connie, Seattle

P.S. Four TRUMPETER SWANS flew into Union Bay yesterday; I think they
are part of the six-some who arrived on Jan. 1. The COMMON TEAL has
reached his full splendor of plumage now and can usually be found
floating on Main Pond. A EURASIAN WIGEON, usually wedged into the
ginormous American Wigeon flock out on the lake, has apparently
decided it is okay to come closer to shore, so occasionally now I get
really good looks at him. FOX SPARROWS have been almost abundant this
winter: I have found one or two at the Wedding Rock, Yesler Swamp
(Surber Grove), the brambles south of the Dime Lot, Conibear, the
small white snag south of Hunn Meadow West, and Kern's Restoration Pond.
