Subject: [Tweeters] Another Bill Clark Advanced Raptor Class in late

Hi Tweeters,

We just finished up Bill Clark's 3 session hawk ID class at the Padilla
Bay Interpretive Center today.
. As usual it was well organized, fun and covered all of the most recent ID
characters for the hawks in our area, both east and west sides of the
Cascades.
It always amazes me how he can keep on coming up with new field marks
after all of these years, but he does. I learned several new things during
the sessions.
This 25 person class filled up like lightning in the week after I announced
it here on Tweeters, so there was not much time for people to respond. As a
result, we ended up with 6 additional people on the waiting list who could
not attend.
Therefore, I have asked Bill if he would do another class to pick up the
waitlist people and he has agreed to do so if we can get a total of 10
people or four more individuals. If we can do this, he'll run the class over
the last weekend in February, i.e. Friday night through Sunday, Feb. 25-27.
Please let me know if there are some of you that would like to attend and
I'll arrange it.
Who knew that there are now records of Swainson's Hawks hybridizing with
Rough-legged Hawks?
