Les Carlson, Bob Rowe, Barry Woodruff and I stopped by the mouth of the Klickitat River, Jan. 14th, on our way to Clarkston for the WOS southeast Washington tour and counted 29 BALD EAGLES on the sandbars at the mouth of the river. We did not check the Balfour Trail just above Highway 14, where I am sure there were many more at the roost site. Wilson Cady

Last year friends and I went to Lyle on January 17th and saw the numerous Bald Eagles that were feeding at the mouth of the river. I haven't noticed any mention of them in Tweeters emails this year. Are they not there this year?

Thanks,
