Jerry Swena and I did a good day of birding from Nisqually and Steamboat Island. We had a good variety and number of birds. We had a look at a Great Egret at about 600 yds. So even with a scope there was no way to tell if there was any yellow. The best bird of the day was either a Krider's or partial albino Red-Tail. It was on 101 in Olympia between Capital Mall and Mud Bay exits. It's breast was a white as that of a Short-tailed Hawk or a Snow Owl. The back was speckled and some marking but a lot of white too.
