Subject: [Tweeters] Ridgefield NWR: Golden Eagle

Around 2 pm today, I saw a GOLDEN EAGLE near the SE corner of the auto-route
of the River S Unit of Ridgefield NWR in Clark County. The bird was perched
well to the south of the gate to the Roth Unit, and required a scope to
properly ID it, as the Roth Unit is closed to the public.
A Ridgefield staff member has apparently been seeing a Golden Eagle on the
Bachelor Island unit, too, but that unit is closed to the public. Bachelor
Island is across the Columbia River from Collins Beach on Sauvie Island,
Columbia County, Oregon.
