Today Ken and Sandy Miller and I walked the Steigerwald Lake NWR trail in Clark County and found one REDHEAD in the main lake, another in Scaup Pond and two more in Redtail Lake, where there was also a bright male CANVASBACK. Neither of these species are commonly found on the refuge and may be birds moving east up the river through the Columbia River Gorge. Wilson Cady
