Tweeters,

Jon Jensen alerted me to an EARED GREBE he discovered on Lake Lorene,
Treasure Island Park in Twin Lakes at 9:30 am today. I re-located the grebe
on the far right side of the lake at 11:30 am. When you enter the park stay
to the right, past the playground. The bird was in the area where the creek
leaves the lake. Also at Treasure Island, is a male EURASIAN WIGEON with a
small flock of AMERICAN WIGEON on the lawn. On Lake Jeane and best viewed
from the tennis court, is a hybrid male with a body all Eurasian, but the
head leaning towards American Wigeon. Also at this location, a nice pair of
CANVASBACKS continues in its second week.

Good Birding!
