Today there was a large flock (500?) of swans on the east side of La Conner-Whitney road just north of La Conner, Skagit County. One of the swans had a blue tag around its neck. It looked like there were 3 numbers in a lighter color on the tag. The tag read vertically up the neck. Unfortunately, we could not read the numbers and were unable to take a photograph. Maybe just knowing about the tagged bird will be helpful.
