Subject: [Tweeters] Some noteworthy CBC birds reported in the Okanogan

Mystery solved.... and this wasn't a joke.? The editor was looking at our
overall Okanogan County birding list, which Libby Schreiner and Victor Glick do
an excellent job of maintaining.? These "noteworthy CBC birds" are actually on
the list.? But there is no count listed on these species' entries, because of
course they've never been seen in Okanogan County.? I'll ask Libby and Victor
why those species are on our list, but I believe it relates to those species
being somewhere in official literature as a remote possibility to be seen in
Okanogan.? But that would sure be a rare, accidental, way off course vagrant!?

But hey, you never know.? We'll sure be on the lookout for the blue-footed booby
and that darned hard-to-spot horned puffin... maybe in Omak Lake...

:)

Thanks Ed for noticing this... and I did let the Omak Chronicle editor know.
