Hi Birders:

This morning, while being mugged by a bunch of feral mallards, I espied a
female CANVASBACK at the Lake Sammamish boat launch. Also there were
Western Grebe, Canada and Cackling Geese, Lesser Scaup, Common Goldeneye,
Bufflehead and Common Merganser.

At the group picnic area, there was a nice group of birds including:
Northern Flicker, Red-breasted Sapsucker, Downy and Hairy Woodpecker,
Black-capped and Chestnut-backed Chickadees, both Kinglets, and a Brown
Creeper.

Nice variety for 30 minutes of birding.
