Dear Tweeters,

I am thinking of purchasing the Swarovski CT Travel Tripod versus the standard Swarovski CT 101 Tripod. Both are made of carbon fiber.

As I see it the main differences between the two are that:

- the Traveler weighs slightly less (49.4 oz. versus 52.9 oz.)
- The Traveler legs have an additional segment
- the Traveler collapses to a smaller size (19.7 in. versus 22.8 in.)
- the Traveler is slightly less costly.

I assume there must also be some disadvantages to the Travel tripod, but am not sure what they are. Is the Travel tripod less stable or have other disadvantages? Does anyone have the Travel Tripod and use it as their primary or only tripod?

Any advice would be appreciated.
