Today I participated on the annual Columbia Land Trust Eagle Tour and from about Beacon Rock State Park in Skamania County to the mouth of the Klickitat River in Klickitat County. We tallied a total of 78 BALD EAGLES with about half of them at the Balfour-Klickitat Trail at the mouth of the Klickitat River. As we passed the ponds at Skamania Landing we spotted 1 GREAT EGRET, always a "good" bird in Skamania County. Wilson Cady
