Hi All,

My wife and I spent some time at Constellation Beach this morning in West
Seattle. There wasn?t much to see when we first arrived, so we decided to
take a seat on the rocks and see what would show up. Over the course of
about an hour we were visited by Barrow?s and Common Goldeneyes,
Red-breasted Mergansers, Buffleheads, Harlequin Ducks, Horned Grebes,
Double-crested Cormorants, Killdeer, Sanderlings, American Crows, 2 Bald
Eagles, a female Surf Scoter, and various gulls. It was a nice way to spend
part of the morning.

I uploaded a few photos (crows and Harlequin Ducks) to my website:

os
The lighting wasn?t great, especially for birds with complex markings like
the harlequins, but a few turned out OK.

Happy birding!
