About a month ago I had one near the south entrance to Discovery Park
in Seattle--but today there are two CHIPPING SPARROWS singing on territories.
Specifically, the birds are in ornamental trees along the main north-south paved
drive that connects the south entrance to the street that goes east-west into the
park and all the way to West Pt. Given date, thinking these are nesting birds.
Must be that it has been some time since there was such an incident in the park.

Thinking that like last year, owing to the exceptional snowpack up high, some
are staying lower this year.
