Tweeters,

Carol Ray and I birded in the Auburn area on Independence Day morning finding 46 species.

Highlights included a pair of Lazuli Buntings on M St off 15th St, NW in Auburn,
a Barn Owl near the corner of West Valley Highway and 187th St,
a brilliant Yellow Warbler at the Green River Natural Area overlook on 64th Ave,
a Ruddy Duck, a Green Heron, a baby American Coot being fed by its mother,
and four Pied-billed Grebe babies at the Boeing Ponds,
numerous Common Yellowthroats, a couple of Willow Flycatchers,
and a Eurasian Collared-Dove in Pacific.
