Dear WA Tweeters:



Between July 20 - 27, my spouse and I will be travelling to the Seattle
area. As birders, we'd like some recommendations about the best spots to
visit. We will spend the first part of our week in Seattle visiting friends
and being touristy, but then we're headed to the Manitou Lodge Bed &
Breakfast near Forks for the nature/outdoor part of our trip. Since we've
never been to the Pacific Northwest before, almost all birds will be
considered "good birds" to us.



I'd also love some input on whether a scope will be wanted/necessary for our
trip. I'd like to leave it at home if possible due to the tripod's bulk in
packing.
