Arriving very late we now have full complement of Purple Martins in Tacoma
along Ruston Way and at Titlow park. Starlings and even house sparrows had
been trying to take over nest boxes but Martins seem to have won out for
the most part.

I just got back from Jack Block Park and Alki and didn't
see any activity at the gourds.

Are Purple Martins being seen anywhere? Or maybe the
long cold spell did in their prey.
