Hello. I'll be visiting the Seattle area this winter, primarily to study and photograph?some?of the gull species?that aren't typically found on the Great Lakes. It seems like finding Glaucous-winged, Western,?Olympic?and Mew Gulls?shouldn't be a problem in the Puget Sound area. I'm hoping someone could?offer some information on finding Thayer's and California Gulls.?I'll be visiting in mid-January and would have a car. I don't mind driving a bit for these species, especially if they could be seen up close and?in good numbers.
?
Any information regarding birding certain locations/sites would be greatly appreciated.

Best of birding,
