Hey Tweets...The migration is definitely on out on the beach. During a
raptor survey this morning from Butter Clam Ave in Ocean Shores north to the
ocean access to Conner Creek, we saw many large flocks of Western
Sandpipers, several Least Sandpipers, two Black-bellied Plovers, lots of
Heermann's Gulls (including young'uns), Brown Pelicans flying offshore,
three adult Bald Eagles, an Osprey, AND an adult (unbanded) Peale's
peregrine. The falcon was the biggest surprise as the adults are usually on
nest sites at this time of year, somewhere up the coast.

I can see it is time to start checking the game range for shorebirds.
