Hey all,

Thanks to all who took a look at the pics. Turns out that...

A) Female Western Sanpipers have longer droopier bills, so the peep I saw with the noticably droopier bill was a Western. Very cool to learn a little about the range of bill sizes.

2) Although everyone says that Semipalmated Sandpipers look like "Oversized Least Sandpipers", there is another bird that matches this description: An oversized Least Sandpiper. Had a picture of one that has clearly been eating well! This was not cool to learn. I liked it when Least Sandpipers were the little ones and other sandpipers were the other ones.

Ah well, bring on the peeps!

Apologies in the last post for not clarifying: By 204th Street, I meant 204th Street in Kent, West of Frager Road. A google map search for "204th and Frager Kent" will take you right to the intersection. Head west on 204th and get way off to the side to allow traffic by, or even better, take it to the turnaround at the end of the field to the South. Mud's good! There's enough water out there to keep them out for a while, especially if it stays a little cloudy!

Happy birding!
