If you're on the Tweeters mailing list I'm sure you've already considered this, but to the newer birders I want to offer some websites that have ideas on how to prevent birds striking your windows. I know there's no perfect answer to this problem, and won't pretend it is entirely preventable, but there are options to consider.

Our windows claimed a flicker.? I didn't hear the strike but I think??
it happened early this morning.? I put the carcass in a refrigerator.??
Does anyone know of someone who wants it?
