Hi Tweets,
Back to Vantage again for sun.
Hiked the trail/road off Recreation Road again. Saw at least four of the
Loggerhead Shrikes, but instead of being perched in the Russian Olive tree,
they were flying about the sagebrush. This is the trail/road closest to Old
Vantage Highway..if you google the map of Vantage, these two old roads are
on the map. At the beginning of the trail, the family of Lazuli Buntings
were flying about. We also had a Black-throated Sparrow. The shrikes were
further on, past the old corral. At least two family groups of Rock Wrens
(not Canyon Wrens!).
