I heard and saw a Red-eyed Vireo singing in ponderosa pine/oregon white oak forest bordering Rattlesnake Creek NNE of the little town of Husum in Klickitat County today. This is the first time I have seen a Red-eyed Vireo in WA and took me back to days spent in the Adirondacks of NY state where Red-eyed Vireos are one of the most commonly heard singing birds.
