Hello Tweeters,

I'm writing to let you know that author and naturalist, Paul Bannick will be
First he will be showing new images related to his book, The Owl and the
Woodpecker, and then the two of us will be taking a field trip inside the
closed watershed to look at the habitat these birds prefer. The fee is $15
per person for the entire program, which runs from 9AM - 12PM.

This is a really special opportunity to spend time in the field with Paul.
The watershed is only 30 minutes from Seattle, but it really is another
world!

While there is no guarantee we will see these birds, I can tell you that we
have had a lot of bird activity. The most lovely sightings this week have
been Common Loons calling on Chester Morse Lake and Rattlesnake Lake, as
well as young Cedar Waxwings just leaving the nest.
