Hi all,

I'm going to be in Washington State for the first half of August, and will
be looking for birds the entire time. There are some birds I'd really like
to see, if anyone has good locations on where to find them during this time
of year. I'll be birding mostly in Northwest Washington, North central
Washington, Mt. Rainer area, and Westport area, and areas in-between.

Mountain Quail
Chukar
Gray Partridge
Ruffed Grouse
Northern Goshawk
Wandering Tattler
Surfbird
all owls -- Great Gray Owl being most important
White-headed Woodpecker
Black-backed Woodpecker
Hutton's Vireo
Black-throated Gray Warbler
Hermit Warbler
Fox Sparrow
Pine Grosbeak
Purple and Cassin's Finches
White-winged Crossbill

Thanks for any help,

Emily Smith
South Carolina
