Dear Tweeters,

Over the weekend several folks told me that I had left out some critical details in my first message. And the link had gone bad. Below are the details. My apologies for this semi-repeat.

Owls & Woodpeckers: In the Field with Paul Bannick
The Cedar River Watershed Education Center, near North Bend

Saturday August 6, 9AM ? 12PM

Cost: $15 per person

Paul will be showing more than 100 new photographs and then the two of us will be leading a trip into the closed boundaries of the Municipal Cedar River Watershed. Normally the public is not allowed in as this is the source of drinking water for nearly 1.5 million people in the greater Seattle area.

The trip is limited to 23 people. We will all be together all the time. There will be some walking. While there is no guarantee we will see any birds, we will study the habitat that owls and woodpeckers prefer so that you can look for them on your own field trips in the future.
