Subject: [Tweeters] Ridgefield NWR, pelicans continue

Some selected results from a trip I made to Ridgefield NWR on Monday
afternoon. The American White Pelicans
were still present and were resting at the south end of the auto loop. A
Peregrine Falcon watched over them
from a nearby tree.

Ruddy Duck 2
Pied-billed Grebe X
American White Pelican 42 Birds on ground in southern end of auto loop
preening and sleeping in a tight group. Several males had breeding "horn".
No obvious juveniles.

Northern Harrier 2
American Kestrel 1
