I'm writing an article on Habitat Loss--Preventable Disaster in the Shoreline Area News, an on-line newsletter. Credit will of course be given.

I need a good picture of a snag so that people will know what a snag looks like. I'm open to either natural, or yard-created snags. I'm hoping to enlighten at least a person or two.

May all your birds be robust!

P.S. My serviceberry trees are filled with juvenile(3+) and adult American Robins, a Western Tanager or two, Spotted Towhees, House Finches, and I am sure others I don't see while at work. Now, if I could only get the word out to the Cedar Waxwings that were nearby last year....
