Yesterday afternoon I bicycled down to the Julia Butler Hansen Refuge to see if I could find the Ross's Goose. At the SR4 wildlife viewing blinds at 3:30 the birding was as poor as usual, with views of a sea of reed canarygrass and exactly one Mallard and one Gadwall in the ponds (a big bull elk in velvet back in the trees, though). I continued around onto Steamboat Slough Road, and found the Ross's Goose in the Hornstra Ponds area, the refuge-made scrapes opposite Hornstra Beach and the Lewis & Clark interpretive signs on the Columbia. I took a few distant but identifiable photos. It was foraging with Canada Geese. That is a more likely spot for it to stick around for a while.
