Just an update on the post from yesterday on the Sharp-tailed Grouse
seen by Jack Stephens, Marvin Cooper and myself. I got in touch with
Micheal Schroeder and he was of course ?curious?, but respectful about
the sighting, which we all expected given the distance it was seen out
of range. Given that there have been some birds that have been
translocated and there are no records of their whereabouts, he is
interested if anyone else sees the birds. We would be as well, as we
did not have enough time to take a picture to document it. Michael also
mentioned that if anyone finds some scat (sausage in shape) that would
be extremely valuable in helping to document this species.
