Once again I need your expertise.? A friend has had Screech Owls?successfully nesting?in her yard for several years, typically fledging 3 young?by mid?June.? This year the female has been sitting on two eggs for two months.? The male has continued to support her throughout.?



Can anyone suggest a reason for the failure of both eggs?? And, if?my friend?removes the eggs what's the liklihood that they'll try again this year?? She doesn't use Tweeters but is open to your suggestions? and appreciates whatever insights you can provide.
