I took a picture this morning of an Osprey on Lake River bordering the
Ridgefield NWR in Washington. It was not until I got home and enlarged the
file that I noticed that the Osprey has a readable color band, and it
appears to have a patagial tag or possibly transmitter saddle as well. It
appears that one band has an X3 on it. Whether that is complete or partial
is unknown. Does anyone know about Osprey banding and whether this needs
reporting or not. Thanks for your help.
