I agree! I have those "life moments" just about every time I go out birding
and have had many of them over my long years of birding. Yes, it is exciting
to see a life bird, but often it can be something more ordinary. I enjoy
watching a Red-tailed Hawk or Osprey circling overhead in bright sunshine,
or just a White-crowned Sparrow or Song Sparrow sitting on top of bush
singing their little hearts out. One of my favorite moments is having three
or more different species in my binoculars at the same time!
