Hi Tweeters,
My husband and I biked the Interurban Trail trail this morning, and when we got just south of the 200th St. overpass in Kent, we saw a female Yellow-Headed Blackbird on the cyclone fence near the trail. She then flew to the grass and grazed for quite a while. When we returned 1-1/2 hours later, she was still there, hanging out with some starlings in the grass.
Other fun things down that way:
1 baby Marsh Wren
4 baby Killdeer with parents
5 baby Bushtits all huddled up together on a branch (a photographer's dream...too bad I'm not a photographer)
2 Green Heron flyovers
Not so fun things:
numerous Brown-Headed Cowbirds
