At about 6:00 pm yesterday, June 12th, I saw a single *Common Murre *in
breeding plumage about 200 yards north of Salty's Restaurant in Redondo. It
was about a 100 yards offshore. It seemed a bit unusual to me, for this time
of the year in the lower Puget Sound.
Overheard at the same location, were two *Caspian Terns.* Along the
boardwalk a single *Osprey*, flew over at least five times, possibly the
same bird. Twice it was carrying a fish over the hill towards Federal Way.
Also seen were a fly-by adult *Bald Eagle*, two *Pigeon Guillemots*, *
Killdeer*, *Glaucous-winged Gulls*, *Rock Pigeons* and *House Sparrows.*

Good Birding!
