Today my wife, Susan and I drove to Spokane and back. At milepost 233.5 of Highway 395 there is a pond on the west side of the road that contained a single TUNDRA SWAN. I did get photos. I first thought it was most likely a Trumpeter Swan due to the season and very straight looking bill, but the shape of the bill around the gape and a yellow lore visible when zooming in on the head shows otherwise.
