Subject: [Tweeters] Townsend's Mole (specimen anyone?)

I just picked up a Townsend's Mole (presumably not a Pacific Mole but not
100% sure) dead in the street in front of the house. Very fresh, mites
still crawling around, and looks like it just crawled out into the street and
died only minutes ago. Wasn't run over nor out there long enough to be
discovered by the usually ever vigilant crows. Also looks like a pregnant
female I think. If anyone, Burke maybe?, anyone else? wants a nice teaching
specimen, I've got it in the freezer, air tight ziplocked and labeled. Just
let me know. This is the first mole I have actually SEEN around here
although their signs are forever everywhere around here like everywhere else in
these here lowland parts.
