Hey Tweets,

Had a nice walk with the family on the Nisqually boardwalk yesterday. Highlights were the numerous Sora calling from the dike trail, Barn and Cliff Swallow nests for the kids to watch at the refuge headquarters, and a Caspian Tern diving into McAllister Creek. Along the dike trail, I also found a Cinnamon Teal in the water, but none of the Yellow-headed Blackbirds previously reported. The trail was a little long for the kiddos, but they still probably put in 3 miles with the easy walking, and the flowers and signs to keep their interest.

Happy Father's Day indeed! :)
