Yesterday at the fish hatchery in Edmonds ?I heard a crow calling in an unusual?voice which was lower than usual.? It turned out to be some kind of a threatening call or alert signal as I witnessed it chasing a Cooper's hawk (probably the young one I have been photogrpahing in the area this spring) out of a nearby tree.
