Hi! You might want to call the Tucson Audubon Nature Shop (520-629-0510); last I heard, they were offering a "package" deal for first-time se AZ birders. Near Tucson, you can see many species at Agua Caliente , Catalina , Sahuaro N.P.'s and Sabino Canyon. I don't know what the fire situation is, but I'd call the Tucson Aud. Soc. (same tel. no..) to see if Ramsay Canyon, the Huachucas, and the Chiricahuas are still open.
Good birding! Murray

Subject: [Tweeters] RFI: S/SE Arizona

Hi all,

I know this is a little out of scope of this group, but I was hoping that

someone might know of a S/SE Arizona group, as I have been unable to find one.

After the Sept 24 Westport trip I will be heading south through Arcata and

Redding, spending a day around the Salton Sea, then 3 days or so between Tucson

and Nogales area, and have a substantial list of targets to track down.

Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
