Washington birders,

Madera Canyon and other spots near Sierra Vista have been closed due to
fire. Please do call local resources before making plans. June 2010 I
was there with the Carolina Bird Club and we had a great time, with many
ABA life birds for me: Elegant trogon, Spotted Owl, etc. Great birding
but fire has been a big problem.
