The Chiricauas , the far SE corner, and home of the Horsheoe2 Fire, was essentially totally burned from the reports i have seen.? They say most of the stuff that burned was understory, leaving the canopy still there.? They are anticipating huge problems when the rains come.

?

Have not heard of any fires in the Patagonia / Madera Canyon area.

?

The report I got from Ramsey Canyon is that, so far, it has fared well but have not read anything from Ash, Carr, and Miller which were hit harder.

I talked with my family yesterday and the fires were then 60% contained; however, they don't think they'll be out until the monsoons arrive.? Access to many places are still by pass only.? The Ramsey Canyon hummingbird sanctuary is fine at this point.? Also the wildlife area around the San Pedro.? If the unseasonal high winds come back - it could be a problem.

The Sierra Vista Herald has had a lot of stuff; however, found the city website a better for some things.
