Hello Tweeters,
While E Kingbirds seem out of place in western WA, they have nesting northwest of Snohomish for several years. There is a wetland at the end of Fobes Road where there are at least two nesting pairs. I have been going there for four years and have seen them there each year. I think it was Doug Parrott who first reported them on Tweeters. (Thank you Doug). Near the end of Fobes Road is a parking lot that gives you access to a wetland that borders the Snohomish River. Nice little walk, worth the effort. Goggle Fobes Road, Snohomish, WA.
