Subject: [Tweeters] WOS Field Trip - Klickitat Co.

WOS field trips are a great way to learn our state, meet birders and enjoy birding. We just returned from the WOS Field Trip to Klickitat County with Wilson Cady, June 18-21, 2011. The trip summary can be found here - http://www.wos.org/tripreport2011.14.html . Being from Spokane - it was great to have Wilson Cady lead us through the county - one with a great variety of habitat. A county count of 126 species - not bad for a late spring with quiet birds hiding. We enjoyed the country and learned the area, camped and saw the natural beauty of this part of Washington that before was unfamiliar. I recommend these field trips - to learn and to enjoy and I will continue to participate.
