Had wonderful views of the Black-throated Sparrow at Vantage and ran into Ryan Shaw and Annie Meyer there as well shortly after sunrise. Stopping in the non-burned riparian area along the Vantage Hwy, managed to have a silent Ash-throated Flycatcher at MP 23.7. This is near where they used to breed, pre-fire. I did not see a mate and saw no evidence of them using any of the bluebird boxes in this area.

Also of note (just for the odd location) was a Eurasian Collared Dove at about MP 25. I rarely see them this far from human areas.
