Subject: [Tweeters] Lazuli Bunting, Red-eyed Vireo in s. Thurston

From: Paul Hicks - phicks at accessgrace.org
Tweets, Monday morning I covered some nearby areas to the east of Tenino. At
Waldrick x Military Rds I found two singing LAZULI BUNTINGs. I don't recall
seeing any reports and did not encounter them at last visit on June 5 (but
did hear Vesper Sparrow a short distance to the north). RED-EYED VIREOs
continue at SR507 x Churchill/Mull, but their singing is a bit hit-and-miss.
Directions: Churchill is at the east edge of Tenino via SR507. The Heernett
Foundation property here is open to birders. 2 or 3 miles further E,
Military Rd turns off to the left and crosses Waldrick after a few miles.
Good birding!
