I live in Seattle. Early this fall I noticed several house finches with pox
and after the first cold snap in November, there was a dearth of finches at
my feeders. Yes, I did take precautions after I noticed the sick birds.
However, there have not been as many finches all winter, although there are
not more juncos than usual. FYI
