I've had a male ruby crowned kinglet at my suet feeder on a daily basis
since late November and I'm wondering how much longer to expect him to stick
around. I've never had a kinglet at a feeder before and it's been
entertaining to watch him all winter. He's a noisy, aggressive little
character and competes readily with all the chickadees and other typical
winter feeder birds for the suet, frequently scolding them as he forages. I
thought I heard him singing this morning (away from the feeder) but was on
my way out and was not able to verify it.
