A Barn Swallow and a couple of gurgling Tree Swallows coursing the lake
edge this morning. Also, a Barn Owl, early, hunting the meadows, where
there were at least a half dozen Wilson's Snipe flying back and forth
and calling. A Spotted Sandpiper was with several Killdeer in Pelican
Bay. And, an amazing number of Spotted Towhee all over the park, easily
over 50.
