Hi Tweets,

I'm wondering if this year's unusually cold winter is going to have a negative effect on the reproductive success of Anna's Hummingbirds. I'm amazed that the adult hummers have survived our miserable weather; they show amazing resilience. But I would think that with the cold weather causing a major delay in the blooming of flowers and also a reduction of flying insects, the hummingbirds wouldn't get enough nourishment to support young birds in addition to themselves. Any opinions on this?
